Uninstall from Windows 10 64-bit when installer will not complete

I have a Windows 10 64-bit machine which will not install or uninstall CIS. It tells me that I have to uninstall manually. I have removed the program files data and all registry keys which have Comodo in them and still the same problem.

Why doesn’t the installer/uninstaller work and/or where are the tools to get CIS out of the machine. I’ve been using Comodo for years now and this is really annoying that I can’t get the new version into the machine.

I managed to find a batch file called “Comodo Removal Tool 2014 - Mods Version” which cleared enough of the registry to allow me to install a version 8 download (can’t use version 10 as I’m on the wrong Windows 10 build). Unfortunately I can’t now find the place where I downloaded the script but at least I have managed to get operational again.
