I had a similar problem with CPF. The problem was resolved with the following steps
- installing again CPF
- rebooting
- uninstalling before making any updates
ps. this works also with CAV
Just likr to say that I have no beef with this program until time came for me to update, which caused me to uninstall it which is where my issue begins. I have removed everything possible yet according to the security centre the firewall is still installed and protecting me. Any help is appreciated as I want to remove the program totally before installing another firewall whether that be comodo or not.
My registry lists 10 entries for comodo which it seems cannot be removed, so what do I do now is my question.

There is another post somewhere on the Firewall forum with very detailed instructions on how to remove and re-establish the WMI info on your PC. I think this is related to yor uninstallation issues. If I can find the post, I’ll stick a link in another posting, but it was only in the past few days.
