Uninformative information

It’s really good to get a warning of possible malware being found, even if, as in this case, it’s almost certainly a false positive. But perhaps it would be a good idea to make the warning dialogue box large enough to allow the information it’s attempting to display to be read!

Please make the dialogue box wide enough to display the file path, make it resizeable or put in a horizontal scroll bar.

This is a newly updated version of Superantispyware (4.49.1000) that’s triggered the warning, by the way. I’ve never seen it happen before.

I believe if you hover the mouse pointer over the box you will be able to read the full path.

Also, that FP is strange. Please submit the file as a false positive here.

Probably heuristics set too high, lower it to Low and FP’s should decrease… :-TU

That is correct :-TU

Ah! Thanks.

It seems that you have to hover over the path itself, not just the box, though. Probably why I hadn’t discovered the solution.

Will do.

Thanks for the suggestion but it’s already set to low.

can you copy and paste the file path though? if you can’t, it would be very useful if you could

Bit of topic.
Running other security components with a full security suite adds to performance degradation and does not warrant to give better protection either.
I have tested several combos and suites regarding hard page faults, dpc latency, IO etc.
Comodo Internet Security comes out best compared to mixing and other suites, and that is with Comodo set to higher security level than default with custom policy control.
