Unidentified Connection & Network

Hello,
I’ve been trying to get the latest version of CEVPN to work for several days with no success.

I am running Win7 Ultimate x64. Now the problem is that after every installation the resulting Network Adapter is defined as “Unidentified network”. I have tried the steps described here:

https://forums.comodo.com/help-cevpn/unidentified-network-t51753.0.html

Without success. There is no customization option after the first reboot.

Any support with this would be deeply appreciated since this is rather urgent for me.

Thanks in advance,

Hello;

Do you have any other security software installed?(Firewall/HIPS?)

Yes I have ZoneAlarm installed, however I always disable it while I use EasyVPN and it was disabled during the installation. Also note that a previous version of Comodo EasyVPN actually worked with this pc, since the update I have no luck.

When you say you disabled ZA how did you do that?

Right-Click on the Zone Alarm Icon and “Shutdown ZoneAlarm Pro”.

It’s been a while that I last used ZA Free. Does closing down from the tray like you did also close down the vsmon.exe (true vector service)? That is the process doing all the work?

If vxmon.exe is still running then it could be interfering.

Hi:

 Please try uninstall EasyVPN first.

Please install Unite to replace EasyVPN:

Unite will come to public soon.

You could see network adapter from:
  'Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections'
