Either they’re stupid or hiding something.

I find quite the opposite with my experience in life.
Relaxed people generally have nothing to hide, relaxed and happy usually go hand in hand.
Unrelaxed people sometimes have something to hide, unrelaxed and unhappy generally go hand in hand.

I realise that ‘Happy’ and ‘Relaxed’ differ greatly, I was just saying IMO that they both go hand in hand at times.
