Unable to update

Hello,

A couple days a go I started to get this error message:


Failed to update the virus signature database.  Please check your internet connection and try again later.
Error Code: 0x80072ee2

I have commodo on multiple computer and this is the only one it happens on. The internet connection is good and both network cards are working.

I have ran diagnostics and it says that everything is working correctly and no incompatible products were found.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please trying reinstalling it using the advice given in this post and let us know if you still have problems.

Your problem could be due to problems from a previous installation.

thank you for your reply. I have never had any other anti virus installed. I should point out that i have had this issue before and a reinstall always worked. However, this time I have uninstalled it and installed the newest version and the issue is still there. All my network connections work and no other programs have problems accessing them.

I solved the issue. Apparently it didn’t like me having a static IP. As soon as i set it to use DHCP, it updated. Strangely, i set up the static IP again all the same information as last time and it works.
