This is now the second problem I’ve had with the comodo database in two weeks. I tried to update it last week and after the update restarted my computer only to have that wonderful problem where the computer freezes. I uninstalled Comodo and reinstalled it only to have the same problem I used Revo uninstaller and reinstalled it again afterwards, then downloaded the stand alone 3539 database, restarted in safe mode and copied it into the scanners folder. It worked fine. However subsequent attempts to update have resulted in my computer freezing on windows startup. I downloaded the latest version from the download link provided in another thread (Comodo Forum) and upon copying that into the scanners folder from safe mode it once again froze mys system. Yet version 3539 works just fine. What the hell is going on?
What version of CIS are you using?
