Since your on windows 7 x64 I would bring up killswitch and save a log file for them attach to your post also run a cis 6 diagnostic file for them and attach to your post… I was on windows 8 x64 but had the exact same problem as you are having. once you do that and with my report and yours they should be able to see the problem for sure.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.
Developers may or may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.
Hi,
As I said that, this may be not Comodo 6 's bug, I switch back to 5.12 and the problems is the same and the cpu usage is very high everytimes .The conflict may be from the option “Active virus control” that’s in Bitdefender and after I turned it off, my computer runs fast as ever , but it’s drawback …
Anyway I love to use Hips from Comodo Defender+ than any others , so I will keep it until this compatible issue is fixed.
Thank you
Looks likle Bit Defender support changed there mind about helping people with bit defender 2013 AV
and Comodo 6 Firewall. I am not re installing bit defender and chasing it but for all of you suffering out there join the bit-defender forum and gets some help from them at least then we will know the cause it may not be bit-defender. dunno… Any way that’s a Very FRESH post directly from BitDefender Staff asking for me to reply.
Originally they said they would not support any products but theirs and told me to hit the road and i told them the same in return and am staying with avast.and just today here is their quote from the post

Hi (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
In order to be able to properly identify the causes for the reported situation and find a solution we will need to investigate a bit deeper.
Please follow the steps below and send us the result:
a ) Go to this page Autoruns for Windows - Sysinternals | Microsoft Learn and download the autoruns file.
b ) Extract the contents of the downloaded file and run the ‘autoruns.exe’ file;
c ) Wait for the list to be filled with all the processes and then make sure that you have the Everything tab selected in the upper part;
d ) Click on the Disk icon right under File and chose any location folder on your computer;
e ) Save the file with a specific name (your name, computer name, a random name, which one you want) and then send me a PM with it.
If the file is too big to attach it, upload it on
or
and send me a PM with the download link.
We will analyze the information you sent and then reply with a possible solution in the shortest time.
Have a nice day.
so please work with them so you can addon your bug report bitdefender’s response!
I have the same problem you two have. It freezes when flash is involved without an error message. The only solution is to kill the process (Firefox) in the taskmanager.
I used the CIS 5 (Firewall only) earlier with Bitdefender 2013 and never had any problems. With CIS 6 (Firewall only) + Bitdefender 2013 freezes Firefox constant.
hi I know this topic is old but I need help as I have the same exact problem: running Comodo Firewall Free 6 + BitDefender Antivirus 2013 on Windows 8 64bit hangs firefox when a page with flash is opened. The browser just hangs and I must kill the process from the Task Manager. To fix the problem I had to disable the BitDefender Active Virus Control but I don’t like this. Does someone know if BitDefender/Comodo wants to fix this issue?
