Unable to set "allow" in HIPS rule set.

So I got some free time and wanted to see what was going on. Comodo HIPS would keep popping up on some programs even when I allowed it and selected “Remember my answer”.
I went into the rules for HIPS, and opened the rule to discover that I can’t mark “Run an executable” to Allow.
I’m using an encoder, making it call on other programs depending on the codec.

Is there any way to force this to allow? I only need it for a couple programs that I have been using for years.

Run an executable access right is the only one which you can’t set it to allow and it has been like that since version 3. You need to use the exclusions modify link and add the file group executables to the allowed files/folders section.
