Can someone help me with logging in to CMT? I believe I am entering the password that I created but it keeps saying Invalid username and password. Now, I can’t even uninstall and reinstall it. Even on System Restore, no success to uninstall. My OS is Windows 7. Thanks a lot!
I’m getting this problem as well. Thought uninstalling, cleaning out the comp with CSC and reinstalling would do the trick. But unfortunately this did not help, CTM is still asking for logon details.
Would uninstalling, then wiping the free disk space and reinstalling help?

If CTM is like Eaz-Fix in this regard, then the password that is created by default is for the built in Admin account. Even if you were/are an Admin you would need to log in to the built in Admin account and try from there.
Does anyone think using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will be able to solve this uninstall problem with CTM? I have found this Microsoft program while looking for a solution to remove a certain program on my computer. It says it cleanly uninstalls a program. What do you think guys?
My best guess is No. I’ve found the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to be pretty much useless contrary to it always being suggested as a fix all for msi. For me it did nothing more than what the normal apps removal tool would do. Other than that, it removes the apps entry in Add/Remove - Uninstall Program dialog in case of botched uninstall by the apps own removal tool.
Hi, sikomo
Did you Add a new user, or just create a password for the default user (name: Administrator)?
Hi jin Yao,
I think I just created a password and not a username. It was only asking for a password and, I saw the Administrator word placed in the username box. I assumed it to be the same with my User Account name because I am the administrator, I just created a password. Should I have created a username too? Thanks a lot!
I see.
Like the picture, right?

EXACTLY!

Did you input the username?
Username: Administrator
Password: (fill in what you created. watch out the Capital key).
Sorry, but still no success! I entered Administrator, administrator, my password and juggled it using capital and small leters. Still no luck!
Have you tried enabling the built-in Admin account and giving it a shot.

Sorry to hear that.
We have tried to reproduced it, but we cannot.
We have looked through ctm’s source code very times, but found nothing.
So, what we can suggest you is:
1. Try your best to try some passwords to make sure you haven’t inputed a wrong one.
2. If you want to uninstall CTM, we suggest you backup data first, and then fix mbr with windows recovery console, after restart OS, you can uninstall ctm.
Notice: Because fixing mbr is risky, please invite a skilled person to help you.
Regards.
Thanks but I am using Windows 7 Home Premium and I think this feature is disabled.
