Unable to install extensions

Hello all,

I installed dragon in my three computers (home, notebook and office), all three are Win7 x64 but only one (office) extensions do not get installed :frowning:

  • First I go to Chrome Web Store, select a extension and click install, now the extension is download as any another file. After the download finishs, I try open-it (double-click) and it opens with Dragon but it start another downloading from my own harddisk :o

  • I added the “–enable-extensions” to the command line and then directly to registry, did not work.

  • Dragon: 4.1.1.11 (beta)

  • Extra plugins/extensions: none

  • Windows: Seven Ultimate x64

  • UAC disabled and admin user

  • Installed at default dir (C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Dragon) and windows is installed at drive C:

All three computers haves similar programs installed (Office 2008, Comodo Firewall & Defense, Visual Studio 2010), the only diference is that I use Avira Anti-Virus in office (yes, already disabled it too).

Any ideas?
Thanks all,

Strange … extensions are usually ‘auto-installed’ by Dragon browser (it needs only user’s confirmation whether install it or not ) . So after you have pressed ‘Install’ in Chrome Extensions Gallery , Dragon loads extension and then asks you if you want to install it and should install extension automatically and no additional actions are required from your side.

Could you please give more details :

  • version of Avira Anti-Virus installed
  • version of Comodo Firewall installed and its security profile (i.e.D+ Paranoid mode )
  • is Dragon run sandboxed ?
  • Are all extensions failed to install or only some special ones ?

Thanks,

I’m having the same problem with installing extensions. It simply downloads the extension file as a .crx file and then when I attempt to open it with Comodo Dragon, it begins to download the file again. I just downloaded Comodo Dragon a few days ago, so I have version 4.1.1.12 and this is the only extension that I have attempted to download.
