Unable to find Adobe Flash Player plugin

Please excuse me if I am in the wrong place: I am advised in various instances recently about the apparent absence of Adobe Flash Player. I see it in my list of programs (Adobe Flash Player 21 NPAPI; Install Date 24/03/2016; Version 21.0.0.197) and the Adobe web site confirms it is on my Windows 8 PC but disabled. about:plugins>Details displays one plugin and two files relating to Chromium PDF Viewer only. I should appreciate someone’s explanation and solution.

Hi Bob Hawkins,
The internal PPAPI Flash is not present with the current version, it may return in future versions.
Installing the PPAPI Flash plugin on the system works with both Chromodo and Dragon.

Kind regards.

I thank you for your constructive reply. I wonder, before I begin: should I uninstall the program Adobe Flash Player 21 NPAPI; Install Date 24/03/2016; Version 21.0.0.197?

Hi Bob Hawkins,
Both versions of the plugin are independent and both can be on the system together.
Other non Chromium based browsers such as IceDragon still use the NPAPI version.

Kind regards.
