All of a sudden I started getting the error message in the title no matter what local path I use! I tried setting the two main apps, Cis.exe and Cistray.exe, to run as administrator and also manually started it that way, but it doesn’t make any difference (perhaps because I always run as administrator).
Every other application I try has no problem writing files to any of the paths I’ve tried, so it can’t be a file system problem (I’m using NTFS).
I’m using Comodo Free Firewall v8.4.0.5076 (PLEASE don’t ask me to update to v10!) under 64-bit Windows 7 Pro.
What can I do?

I tried increasing the permissions of the profile keys and subkeys in the registry, but it didn’t help.
