Unable to connect most of the time

I hate to be a pest, but Trust Connect still is not working properly.

I was able to connect from this computer once today, and then was unable to connect again, doing several tests just to see if it worked. A log is as follows:

How do I fix this?

Thanks for helping.

Still unable to connect.

Why isn’t this working?

Is anybody home?

Seems you enter wrong TC password. Check it or change it by following such steps:

  1. Login to your Comodo account page: Comodo Account Management | Login or Create a new Account
  2. Go to TrustConnect bookmark
  3. Click “Change Service Password” link

Hope this will help.

I did not want to change the password. I run two copies of Trust Connect, one at a time, of course, on each of two computers. On one computer Trust Connect continued to work as it should, on the other computer it did not work. So, what I did was uninstall and reinstall Trust Connect on the computer where it did not work, and so far it is working just fine. Comodo has an awful lot of passwords floating around for various functions. To add another one seemed really problematic.

Thanks, however, for the idea!

PS I just read Pablo-ino’s post. I run Avira Antivir Premium on both computers, along with the paid versions of SuperAdBlocker and Malwarebytes, and have had no problems with Trust Connect and these applications. There is no guaranteed security out there in the wonderful world of the Internet, but every little bit helps.

Hi Dreherd,

Unless you have a separate account for the other TrustConnect running only one of them will work as both trying to access the same service using the single login and password.

Can you futher explain your home network setup?
