UI "unrecognized/unknown files"

Hi,
i just upgraded my CIS to the latest version (8.2.0.4508) in the UI (advanced view) in the middle of the UI, near “blocked intrusions”, there used to be an entry “unrecognized files” (or was it “unknown files”?) which has disappeared now. but this was very handy to quickly check them and rate them just by cliking on the number shown there. now i have to go via advanced settings/security settings/file rating/list of files to find and rate them… :frowning:

Yes, this was the first thing I noticed too. Was a good way to quickly see whether anything odd may be going on, and now it’s gone. Granted, you can sort the files list by rating to see the untrusted, but only if you go there to check, not showing up right away. Also, no more purging.

Current system of listing unrecognized files doesn’t make sense. You have to dig all over the place to unblock something that gets sandboxed. It was a lot easier and convenient before.

Hi Guys,
If the unrecognized files list or the sandboxed items are required regularly, these can be found on the status pane of the Widget.
May not be the ultimate solution for those that do not use the Widget.

thank you. i didn’t know that it can still be found in the widget. :-TU
since the update sometimes after restart the widget is bigger and in lower resolution than it should be and not in it’s place on the desktop. this problem i had a long time ago too, and thought it is solved… :-TD
