Earlier today I was trying out the latest release of ubuntu 9.0.4 which includes “GRUB” boot loader…
I came across some trouble with ubuntu and wanted to get rid of it, I was having trouble with " GRUB " Which still persisted.
I thought I’d post here the solution incase somebody else encounters this problem so that they want to get the original boot loader that comes with windows.
For Windows Vista, Boot from your CD to the recovery tool → From there go to Command Prompt,
Type this in and enter
Bootrec.exe /FixMbr
You should now be able to boot straight to windows
