Trying to update, error 113 at 9%

Hello I am trying to get my old Comodo firewall on a computer that’s been idle for a year updated to latest. When I go to “Check For Updates” says there are (of course) and I proceed. It gets to 9% and an error 113 appears that the internet connection has dropped. But it hasn’t. Good ol’ ATT DSL at my service. Never seen this before. Please advise THANKS!

It would be best to do a complete uninstall and reinstall the new version too many changes have happened since. To uninstall I would recommend using Revo uninstaller to make sure everything is cleaned out. Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download once uninstalled and restarted get the new version from here

Hi MUCH THANKS for the reply. Being a novice at this, are there any uninstall-install issues I should be aware of? Will the newest Comodo 3.12 run OK without any problems with existing AVG 8.5 Anti-Virus?

no problems just as long as you don’t run both antiviruses, just one.
