Trying to uninstall Comodo Pro [Resolved]

I tried out Comodo Pro under windows Vista and found that I had some issues involving UAC and decided to remove Comodo for now. The problem is that I have removed everytrace that I can find after running (successfully, per the uninstaller) the uninsatller. I find that, per Security Center that Comodo reports that it is running. At this time, this is causing issues while trying to run ANY firewall.

My question is, how the heck do I get rid of Comodo from a VIsta computer?

Hello & Welcome to the Forums.

  1. Open start menu and click Run and write cmd.
  2. In the cmd window, write NET STOP WINMGMT /Y.
  3. Now write cd "%windir%\system32\wbem" and then RD /S /Q “Repository”.
  4. Last of all, write NET START WINMGMT /Y.
  5. Close the cmd window and security center should no longer report it.
