Transparency of COMODO Applications

If COMODO is going to whitelist their own applications within CIS, it’s important for me to understand the distinct purpose for each of the COMODO Internet Security applications:

  • cmdinstall.exe
  • cfpconfg.exe
  • cistray.exe
  • cis.exe
  • cmdagent.exe
  • cmdvirth.exe
  • cavwp.exe

Furthermore, if these applications access the internet, I need to know what kind of information they’re communicating to each IP address, and I want to know all the IP addresses and ports to which they communicate, as well as the protocols they utilize.

Moreover, I should be able to force the encryption of all communication (HTTPS for instance).

Thank you,

np

Are you responding to my previous post, or are you talking about something else entirely?

Thank you,
