Time limited scanning, block and quarantine

I wish time limited scanning per single file and number of levels of archive to scan (if there is multiple levels of archived files), there are zip bomb archive out there which are very small but if you try to unpack they generate huge amount of totally useless code: “aaaaa” for example because it is very easy to compress few millions of “a” in very small space, so CIS will scan until there is no space on disk left and probably crash PC.

I would also like to see block and quarantine in D+ prompts

Decompression bomb is just something that unpacks to an unusually big amount of data even though it’s rather small (i.e. has a high compression ratio, for example). It’s nothing to worry about that much nowadays.

Time limited scanning? Do you mean does not stay scanning a file for more time than the limit? Hmmm… Will be a security hole, won’t it?

Time limited scanning for single file, it is not security hole (i think contrariwise), every better AV have that options, files in memory or running exes are scanned in milisecs. even by heur. but archives on disc which generate gigs can be used for dos and they are used for dos

Ok, so the files are chosen by the type (extension, contents) and not by the scanning speed.
In this case, not a security hole for sure.
Of course, the scanning speed depends on the type.

i would like to see block and quarantine with d+

but does it still happen?
