This forum is stupendously slow

I don’t know what’s going on, but for the last few days this forum has been so slow it’s driving me insane. 20 seconds between opening of anything I click here. 20 seconds for every thread I want to open. Every subforum and the whole forum itself. It’s absolutely crazy. And it’s ONLY happening here and not on any other webpage.

A workaround is to disable JavaScript for the forum.
Edit: Until they fix it, that is.

How is it possible to break up a perfectly workung forum in such way? :-\ Please do something!

I am sorry we have no idea as we where not told what caused it last time.

It should be fixed later today.

I hope everything is fixed this time

Forum Comodo SMF v.2.0.7
Upgrade SMF please v.2.0.11

Thank

They now about that and have done for some months.

At the moment they really need to sort this javascript problem which was part fixed some time ago before breaking again.

Dennis

I’m really surprised Comodo are allowing this to go on for this long.

Not a criticism just an observation

You are not the only one

Hello,
Pending a solution
Suspend ASP Scripts

This is everything BUT solution. I won’t sacrifice my whole browsing experience because of this forum.

Another workaround is to block forums.comodo.com/rss.php, this can be done through for example uBlock Origin and other adblockers.

The proposed operation is 10 seconds
Time to consult and write messages
Then return config
Total 10 + 10 = 20 seconds
ps:the cause being the script rss.php

Yep, firing on all cylinders again :-TU

Good to see it fixed, but I hoped it was resolved faster than it was this time…

All good things come to those who wait.

I’m keeping Sanya’s workaround active, so if it does happen again, I can still view and use this Forum.
