4. List all the configuration changes you did. Are you using Default configuration? If no, whats the difference?

Too many changes, will attach a configuration file.

5. Did you install over a previous version without uninstalling first, or import a previous configuration file? (please try to avoid doing these things until we are told it is safe)

Updated using the internal updater in CIS 7.0.308911.4080 BETA which carried over the configuration file and had it enabled by default.

You may not want us to do that but I believe bug regarding the internal updater should be reported, how else is it going to improve? 88)

I think this is a good issue to check for. Also, if you notice any problems with your configuration being carried over please create a new bug report for that.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

Many thanks again.

As this was not fixed during the Beta testing period I will move this bug report to the main Bug Reporting Board.

Please check and see if this is fixed with the newest version (7.0.313494.4115)? Please let us know whether it is fixed or you are still experiencing the problem.

Thank you.

PM sent.

Since I had to do a complete re-install to get CIS 7.0.313494.4115 on my system I can’t really test the internal updater, however I can tell you that the theme doesn’t seem to be saved in the configuration file at least, seeing as importing my old configuration didn’t change the theme.

I can test this first when next update is available.

Thank you. For now I will just leave it as it is.

If anyone else can check this, please let me know if it is fixed for the newest version.

Thanks.

facepalm I forgot about this… I didn’t update through the internal updater, I updated using the full installer… :-\ Sorry… I’ll check it for the next version, promise! >_<

No problem. Thanks.

This seems to have been fixed, used the internal updater to update to 7.0.317799.4142 and it maintained the Modern theme.

I’m happy to hear this is fixed. I have closed this entry in the tracker and will move this bug report to Resolved. If this issue does reappear please let me know and we can reopen this.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thank you.
