I guess everyone’s using Daemon Tools, but I thought I’d tell you all about a free and very small program that is portable and does the same thing.
The program is made by Microsoft (who could have thought they could make something that’s free, small and portable? 88) ), and is available for download from their site:

It supports mounting most files. Although there’s only some that’s stated as ‘supported’, others will work fine if you select ‘All files’ from the drop-down menu.
