The v 6.0.260739.2674 firewall can not use on Xp 64bit sp2,but The 6 BETA firewall can use on Xp 64bit sp2?why??
This seems a very important issue, so I would be very much appreciate it if you could report this in standard format. The format is here.
1.CIS version: COMODO Firewall 2013 v 6.0.260739.2674.
2.OS version:windows xp 64bit sp2 with all last update.
3.What you did: During the installation process, the program feedback c + + runtime library is not found.but Install the old version, does not have this problem. install Then complete the installation, restart the computer, the firewall does not start.
4.What you actually saw:the program feedback c + + runtime library is not found.There is a firewall file running in memory.
5.What you expected to happen or see:the new ver Firewall 2013 can use on xp 64bit sp2 like ver5.12 and ver6.0 beta.
For what it’s worth, it seems to be running fine here…

As this appears to be an issue which may be solvable without creating a bug report I have moved this to the Help section of the forum.
Zony, if you don’t mind, please try reinstalling it by following the advice I give in this post and see if it then installs correctly.

I installed the v 6.0.260739.2674 Firewall on new os, the os never installed old ver firewall.
Were there any other security software installed on the computer before you tried to install CIS? This includes any software which may have been removed.

No software， firewall is always first install, after the completion of the hardware driver installation.
Okay, I’ll move this back to the bug reports. Sorry for moving it to the help section in the first place. I was just hoping that this was a problem which could be solved.
By the way, I’m sorry to have to point this out, but for a bug such as this one you need to use the longer version of the bug reporting format from this post. Only the longer version will provide the devs with all the information they will need to reproduce and fix this bug.

The images I posted above are from 6.0.260739.2674 running on XP x64 SP2 + all Hotfixes.
I see.I stop same useless windows services.So i posted above a images about windows services environment.
But the same services environment, used to install ver5.12 firewall and ver6.0.260739.2674. ver5.12 worked ok,ver6.0.260739.2674 not work ok.
Thanks very much for your issue report. We have moved it to the non-format bugs board for the moment, because too much of the information we normally need to replicate a problem and fix it is missing, or it is not in the format we request.

But the problem is much more likely to be fixed promptly if you edit your first post to create an issue report which meets all criteria in the Checklist and Format. You can get your report moved to the format verified issues board simply by ensuring that it is correctly formatted and all criteria are met, and PM’ing a mod who is active on the bug board.
