The defense doesn't work

I got an icon with a block on today, and it says that the defense doesn’t work.
I have tested with the diagnostic test, but it’s say that all works.
What can be wrong?

Btw, i have changed fan on my videocard today, can it be something with that?

Start with running Diagnostics (under Miscellaneous) and see what it says and if it can fix it.

Try in Defence+ settings check “Disable Defence+ permanently” checkox, then reboot, then uncheck this checkbox and reboot again. If this doesn’t help you’ll probably need to reinstall CIS.

I’ve never tried that…but from the “permanently” doesn’t that mean you can’t get it back? Or can you?

This is where I’m at & will be trying it out. Any tips as far as a reinstall goes?

& everything seems to be ok. Went to have a look at the settings & the box I unchecked prior to rebooting was checked off.

What is your OS?
Vista or Windows 7?
If you use Vista or Windows 7, try to install CIS as Administrator.
