Terminal Services

I’m using Version 2.2.0.11 of CPF and experiencing the same ‘error 108’ at the 82% mark that others see when I use the updater. I read the messages under ‘Error 104’ here in the forum, and saw the suggestion that I make sure Terminal Services are activated.

I’m running XPProSP2; how do I check the Terminal Services setting and activate it if necessary? I’d like to update CPf to V. 2.3.4.

Thanks in advance,

Hal

Hi, try this…

1 Make sure you are logged in as an administrator

2 Click Start, right click My Computr and then click Properties
3 In System Properties, select the Remote tab
4 Select the allow users to connect remotely to this computer check box

Cheers,

Paul

Update, egemen said there will be a fix for this next week some time. So you won’t in fact have to worry about it.

Paul

Thanks, Paul…

I tried changing thr System Properties (allow remote) as you suggested; same Error 108. I’ll just wait for the fix to come along…

Hally826, The problem you were having can be “fixed” by uninstalling the old version (2.2.0.11), rebooting and then downloading and installing a fresh version of 2.3.4. After the installation of the newer version then you need to enable and set to automatic Terminal services to get Comodo to work correctly.

Yes, good point and I poorly answered, (:SAD) I was obviously thinking they had the new one, lol. but perhaps they should wait until fix comes out to download new version. Sorry HAlly826, misread your original.

Cheers,

Paul
