Temporarily disable HW Firewall

Is there a way to temporarily disable the hardware firewall in my Dlink DSL-2740B router?

I would like to do this to test the security of my PC’s firewall and to see if my firewall is correctly configured.

I have tried Shield-Up tests and they all return with full 100% score, but I am not sure if my PC is actually that secure or if it is secured by my HW firewall.

Your best bet is to place the PC in the router DMZ.

I am gonna try that. Thanks.

I have tried the method as advised by Radaghast, and it worked great! During the test, I get numerous messages from CIS (and I just ignored them, neither clicked Allow or Block), and the stealth test is 100% perfect! :-TU
