System Restore

Sometimes system restore renames folders on restoring the system & mentions it.

Like I did a system restore & it mentioned a folder in application data was renamed.
Like application data - macromedia - folder sys was renamed to sys2.
And when you go to the location there are 2 folders sys & sys2.

sys - 566 bytes & sys2 - 470 bytes. sys has 1 folder & 1 file. sys2 has only 1 file which is in sys too.

I guess sys is original folder. Can I delete sys2 folder now?

After some time both the folder sys & sys2 had 1 file in each & nothing. The file was the same in both exactly of same size. I dont know how the other folder in sys folder disappeared. But as both the folders now had 1 same file so I deleted sys2. I think it was a duplicate & not needed & no probs will be there.

Any info anyone can give?
