System Cleaner net problem


My problem: I would like update Comodo System Cleaner. But, I can’t.
System Cleaner can’t connect to the net.
I allowed the in and out communication in the firewall, and I tried disable the firewall.
Result: nothing.

I’m not the OP but I’m having the same issue on two computers:
Laptop: Windows XP Tablet Edition SP3
Desktop: Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP2

Both systems are running CIS 3.10.102363.531 and CSC 1.1.64946.38, and 32-bit or 64-bit versions of each respective to the OS they are running under.

I’ve had a lot of difficulty updating virus databases for CIS lately as well, so could this be a server-side issue? I don’t know if the same update servers are used for both programs or not.

You already have the latest final release of CSC. There are no updates available for a final release. There is a beta being tested. It is suggested that you uninstall CSC 1.1.64946.38 before trying the beta.

I realize there are no non-beta updates right now but shouldn’t the update check report that? It seems to me that reporting a connection problem means there IS a connection problem, not that I already have the latest update.


The beta version is in testing and we are approaching the final stages so there have been modifications and the updates might not work properly sometimes because there is work in progress on the server. After CSC 2.0 will be released the updates will work as they should. If you have the 38 version, you have the latest release. Yo can download it from here :
