[Suggestion]Hash Checking when Applying Rules

It’s going to be better if Defense+ checks hash of some small files when applying rules. Now Defense+ completely depends upon path of a file. I hate have to allow execution of some files again when I only moved it!

I concur. Norton checks the hash. When updating Firefox, Norton always asked for permission when it saw that the .exe file had changed. If a virus replaces an .exe file and uses the same name, CIS could allow it to run.

I still use AVG…CAV needs more work (such as addressing the issue you raised above).

I suggest that both CAV and CFP use hash comparison. :-\

Yep…I agree! :-TU

And Defense+.

And Threatcast.

Ditto. :-TU
