Thanks to Kinta’s patched version of ‘driver.tar’ (v3.11) a flawless installation of ‘COMODO Antivirus for Linux (CAVL) v1.1 (v1.1.268025.1)’ is possible on:
‘Linux Mint 16 Cinammon 64bit’
1.) just install package
2.) replace original ‘driver.tar’ with the modified one by Kinta (v3.11)
3a.) execute post_setup.sh
3b.) start the app
4.) problems with mail gateway are shown, run diagnostics as requested but don’t restart yet
5.) update the virus definitions first (may take a while!)
6.) now do a restart
7.) start system scan as suggested
8.) enjoy the green message (all components active and running)
