startup programs

When i installed cis4 and changed my defense + settings to paranoid mode my startup programs stopped running on startup. the program i want to startup are in the startup folder and i tried putting them in my own safe files and my protected files then i rebooted and still nothing. is there anyway i can fix this

RESOLVED

i figured out what setting i had that was blocking my startup

it was “block all unknown requests if the application is closed”
