Comodo Internet Security - CIS AV False Positive/Negative Detection Reporting

Hi

So I just tried to open Spotify and I get the popup from Comodo saying the ‘spotify.exe’ is a suspicious file and it was quarantined. So I uninstall Spotify and try to reinstall it, as soon as the ‘spotify.exe’ file gets installed it gets quarantined. I’ve tried installing it a few times now and I get the problem every time.

The threat name appears as: Heur.Suspicious[at]127798019

Anyone have any idea whats going on with this? Spotify was working fine last night when I last used it now as soon as I tried to open up the program today it’s seen as a virus.

Comodo Antivirus Heuristic is sensitive & gives many False Positive. So just disable the heuristics & the prob is solved.

This False Positive has been fixed. You can check with Virus Signature Database version 6315 and confirm it.
