Installed Comodo and after a few reboots get a persistent system hang and spooler sub system shutdown which is a spoolsv.exe faulting module error which shuts down, searched the forum but nothing here.
I cleared the spool cache, reinstalled all printer drivers, set dep to off, scanned and rescanned for viruses, malaware, all comes clean ran sfc, hijack this removed comodo and all works fine.
Removed comodo folders and reinstalled fresh, reboot 4 times and get same error. submited error report to microsoft but its new to them, no info.
without comodo system runs fine, with spooler sub system fails, I am running 2.4.16.174. I have it running fine on my laptop but not this machine.
xp pro ooddles of ram, any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.
