Spell Checker Doesn't Work

Hi everyone. Ever since some update (don’t remember) in 2012, Chrome has stopped spell-checking. Hopefully tried Comodo Dragon version 25.1.0.0, but the same fate here, both in Windows 7 and Windows 8. All of the spell-checking options in the browser settings have been tried several times, but nothing solves. Please resolve it.

Hi 4sure,
Make certain Check the spelling of text fields is checked in Dragon or Chrome.
Right click within the text area and hover over Spell-checker options.

Also make sure your desired language is not greyed out in the same screenshot.

Edit: In Chrome only deselect Ask Google For suggestions in the same menu.

Thanks for reply. As said earlier, “All of the spell-checking options in the browser settings have been tried several times”. What you’ve advised has been told numerously by Chrome Developers, so the bug still persists.
