Spectaculator "Spectrum Emulator" will not run

System
Vista Service pack 2
Comodo ver 4.1.150349.920
Avast 5.0.594

With D+ totally disabled from Def+ settings i can get this program to run, putting the emulator in security policy trusted or disabling D+ from the level setting makes no difference. Re-enabling D+ in D+settings the emulator will not run; returning a windows error page thus,

I have tried many many different settings in the application system activity control ie allow all in access rights and protection settings but still no solution. I emailed spectaculator and was told this can happen with outpost internet security and Comodo CIS. Any idea’s!!! okay i can disable D+ restart my computer each time i want to run the emulator program but there must be a setting in Comodo to allow it to run. Thanks

Is there a link available where dev’s can find this emulator tool?
This will make troubleshooting more easy

Hi Ronny, yes the link for there site is here http://spectaculator.com/ Thanks

The provided links to download the program are not working here with several browsers. Do you have an alternative download link?

Hi EricJH sorry about that i could not get the download link to work either until now, this is the same link with a few steps skipped ie it takes you straight to the download page Thanks

http://www.spectaculator.com/downloads/specvista.php

I tried it on Win 7 x86 with v5 beta and it worked straight away. It crashed on Vista SXP2 with v4.1.

It will work when you add the spectaculator executables to the exclusions of Image Execution Control Settings. That can be done under Defense + → Advanced → Image Execution Control Settings → Exclusions.

Thanks EricJH works a treat i do not have V5 beta only V4.1 but this solution works a treat ;D
