I’ve got a spare partition on my laptop (50GB of 250GB) an I was thinking of trying one of the free OS’s to dual boot with W7. I haven’t really used any since 2006 which was ubuntu 6.10. What would be a good one to install in this spare partition, presuming I can do it without messing up the Windows 7 Loader
Iv`e just been messing around with a few distros the last couple of weeks (on a separate computer mind) and have installed Ubuntu 9.10, Mint and PCLinixOS.
Of the three i would say Mint was the most preferred, allthough there not that different really. Trying LXDE next
