(solved) Windows 10 requires activation after CIS 10 install?

??? Yesterday i upgraded from CIS 8 (i think) to CIS 10. I noticed after i’d updated everything, windows 10 is now telling me it needs to activate. This is a genuine OEM install of windows 10. though it started as windows 7 HP 4 years ago, i switched to 10 before the free change deadline.

Windows won’t accept my product key.

I haven’t played around with many CIS settings beyond stock configuration…

Is this a mysterious coincidence?

Does Windows activate if you uninstall CIS? Did Secure Shopping and Internet Security Essentials get installed too? Try removing those as-well to see if that resolves the issue.

I removed the shopping thing and problem solved :-TU :-TU
