Hello Comodo team.
I have a big problem with the sandbox.
I use the Program “Tinytask” a mouse and keyboard recording macro tool. It works 100%. If i use it in the Sandbox, it doesn’t plays the recordet Mouseclicks or key’s.
5 Hours ago, i had Comodo Verison 6 or 8 (i can’t remember) and it worked 100% in the Sandbox. Everything was fine. Now i upgradet it to Version 10 and have this problem.
Can you help me?

Hi, I would like to help you, but there are a couple of forum members who really know what they are talking about – and I am not one of them. I play around with Comodo but I don’t know it inside out.
Suffice it to say that Comodo 10 is significantly different from the earlier versions you mentioned.
If your program doesn’t work in sandbox, and also doesn’t give you prompts or error messages, then if I was you, I would enable HIPS, and run it outside of sandbox.
HIPS gives you a lot of control over what the program can and cannot do, in case you don’t trust it completely.
Another thing you can do is add your important personal data folders to HIPS/Protected Objects/Protected files.
Anything that you put in there, for instance, your Dropbox folder or whatever, cannot be modified by an unknown program. Only trusted programs can modify files in these locations. This protects against ransomware.
Not a bug. Sandbox was hardened in version 10.

Hardned like it blocks macros now?
Yes but not only. Virtualized applications are not allowed anymore to set hotkeys on “real” system as it could block input and cause other unwanted behavior.

Primarily, sandbox is a place to run programs you are not sure you want to keep, or not sure you want to trust.
If you have a reliable program that you work with regularly, just add it to the trusted list and let it run normally.
