Snagit can not work

When I installed CIS7, Snagit couldn’t capture a screenshot any more. A error “failed to save document” always occurred.

I only enabled anti-virus and firewall. I have searched and found Kaspersky or Bitdefender can make this error too.

Though I put the processes of Snagit in the exclusion list or exited CIS, the problem still existed.

When I uninstalled CIS7, Snagit could work well.

Both of them are my favorites, but now I have to choose one.

Try adding Snagit to the trusted files list of the file rating section.

Have the same problem.

All Snagit files (snagit32.exe, snagpriv.exe, snagiteditor.exe) were added to Trusted group.
But, yes, it works in Internet Security mode and doesn’t in Proactive (even if Behavior Blocker and HIPS is disabled).

By the way, in CIS 6, everything was OK.

Try adding the relevant executables to the Exclusions of Detect shellcode injections (i.e. Buffer overflow protection) and see if that makes a difference or not.
