Slow backup times on incremental

I have been successfully using Comodo backup for about two years. During the past two weeks, my incremental backup has been running increasingly slower. In fact, it seems as if the backup process cannot even finish in 24 hours, nor does the process even seem to get to the point where ANY files get backed up – it typically just stays at “Reading parent backup tree” for a very long time. I am backing up to an external Seagate drive and have never had any problems.

I have posted a screen shot and welcome any suggestions.

Hi,

The slower backup issue can be caused by deduplication.
We disabled it in latest version (4.3.3.19) if compression level is not highest, but backups created with older version might have this issue.
