Sleep Mode Problems

I recently started using Windows 7 “Sleep Mode”, choosing to put my computer to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity.

It works fine for a few hours, but after a day or more, my Sleep configuration mysteriously changes to “Never”. I can see how Sleep Mode might foul up the CIS updates. Does CIS by any chance turn off Sleep Mode, or should I look elsewhere? (already checked my backup program).

CIS does not change that unless it would be a bug.

Anything you recent installed can do this but usually happens on install only.

I did install sometime ago Extender for Media Centre after this it would not sleep, took me sometime to find out why.
