The size of the bases.cav (antivirus database) file is quite huge (+105mb) as in my pc. wish the size was less than 50 mb.
Shall u have to remove the antivirus for some reason it takes much time updating specially painful if you don’t have a fast internet connection.

Yes, it is huge. I believe everybody wishes it were smaller, not just those on slow connections.
Comodo is working on family signatures to reduce the size of the bases.cav. It seems it may be stalled a bit though.
Why didn’t they just do it “right” from the start? Pun intended.
I think the family signatures have definitely been put on hold. When you check the new signatures that are added, none of them look like generic ones, at least not that I’ve seen.
