"Shared Documents" Question

Hi

Previously, I have always saved both user and shared data on a separate partition (i.e Data drive). However, I have now decided to move the data back into the users areas (i.e within Document and Settings<username>). What I am not sure about is the security of the “Shared Documents” (All Users) folder. Is this a secure area to share data?

Edit: Btw, OS is XP Pro SP3 using NTFS (NTFS was also used on my D: drive with same user permissions)

Anyone have any thoughts on this? How do you manage your data? Do you do things Microsoft’s way (i.e Documents and Settings) or maybe save on another partition (incase you need to re-install the OS). I’ve always prefered the second method but now that I have tools, it doesn’t matter as much now.
