Windows Vista services.exe is listening on TCP local port 49158 with no destination address given in the “active connections” window in the latest 3.0.15.277 version. Is this a problem? I never noticed it before. This is also true for svchost.exe.
These system programs manage the Windows services, DNS and other system functions and are not a problem. Some of their activities require communication on tcp ports. You can try Google for more information than you ever wanted to know. I have both listening also, along with others.
