Using Comodo Firewall 3.0.25.378.
Defense, Scan my System scans the entire system.
Is there a way to do selective scanning, eg for a particular drive, foilder, file?
Perhaps COMODO Internet Security 3.5 RC is what your looking for. 
Make sure you have no other AV or Firewall installed, And install full CIS.
