Seems like Comodo thinks my router is a hacker?

Hi again,

I apologize if this is firewall 101 or something, but I am complete beginner at this.

I have attached a screenshot here. I believe the IP address in question is the default IP for a router.

Why is Comodo saying I’ve been attacked, and that the IP is temporarily blocked?

Is this program overstepping its bounds?

That port number is usually the RIP protocol from a router. What is your router model.

G’day soxfan,

This traffic is coming from your router, but it is legitimate traffic. You can correct this by defining a zone that encompasses the IP address of your router and the IP addresses of your PCs. This zone then needs to be set as a trusted network.

In CFP V2.4, thjese options are found under SECURITY - TASKS.

Hope this helps,
Ewen
