Welcome.
Are you referring to the Vista Security Center not recognizing comodo?
If so, you can try this:
I know it’s been a while since no one has posted but here is a work-around for Vista users (dunno if it will work on XP) until this issue is fixed, and it will be fixed as confirmed by one of the CIS developers here on the forums:
For now…
The problem may be resolved by re-starting the WMI repository:
1 - rt-click Command Prompt and select ‘Run as Administrator’. Type the following command:
winmgmt /verifyrepository
If you get a message “WMI repository is consistent”, run the following command:
2 - net stop winmgmt [Click Enter]
3 - cd /d %windir%\system32\wbem [Click Enter]
4 - ren repository repository.old [Click Enter]
5 - net start winmgmt [Click Enter]
If you get a message “WMI repository is not consistent”, run the following command:
6 - winmgmt /salvagerepository
This will perform a consistency check on the WMI repository and resolve the issue.
7 - Restart your machine.
8 - If you again get the following message instead: winmgmt /salvagerepository is failed.
Ignore this message, and again run:
winmgmt /salvagerepository
Reboot. Hope this helps.

Are you using the latest .439 build? Reinstalling may fix the problem, and make sure windows Firewall is turned off.
Cheers,

thx. now finally Security Center detects Comodo Firewall.
This has also been known to work:
Go to Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista), select Change/Uninstall to bring up the installer,
select the Modify option, run through the installer and reboot at the end.
