Secure DNS using

Hello!

I would like use secure comodo dns server.
In my work office I connect to the net via WLAN router. But, I can’t modify the settings of the router (i am not the system administrator), so I can modify only my wlan card in my laptop.
I can set up the secure dns server, but, if these servers can’t be found in the router setup menu… are the settings invalid? Or it will work?
How can I check the operation of dns servers (work or not)?

You can use different DNS servers than the ones the router will use. I do that sometimes at home.
