Search.adtrustmedia.com CAUSING RESTARTS?

Hello,

Had a random restart this morning and checked Event Viewer in Windows and theres loads of warnings in there and search.adtrustmedia.com was one of them. Thats connected with Comodo right ? Privdog ?

Looks like it caused a restart which is showing as the following ;

ThermalZoneDeviceInstance ACPI\ThermalZone\THRM

I’m now going to run an MB scan.

Cheers

In Event Viewer its showing a load of the warning below source showing as ‘‘filter manager’’ (version 6.1 must be my Comodo CIS) ;

You are right that adtrustmedia.com and Privdog are related to Comodo. I would not look into this initially when dealing with instability

Looks like it caused a restart which is showing as the following ;

ThermalZoneDeviceInstance ACPI\ThermalZone\THRM

I’m now going to run an MB scan.

Cheers

This is my main suspect with regard to the instability. A little Google search suggests the problem may be a temperature related issue. Think, broken fan, too much dust on CPU fan, etc…

With regard to the warning for the filter manager event. Please try updating CIS to the latest version 6.3.

Could you check with Bluescreenview from Nirsoft what Windows thinks is causing the instability?
